Our final session was a panel discussion on the future of geospatial visualisation with host David Sherran, BCS President Paul Naylor and guests Julian Williams, Helen McKenzie and Leanne Hughes.

Our final talk slot of the day was handed to the entertaining Ken Field who bought us maps, music and a tour around his beloved hometown of Nottingham.

It's been 35yrs since I worked at BGS when I vowed never to be a cartographer. Technically, I've never had a job with 'cartographer' in the title so I kinda held myself to that promise. Good to be back today for #carto2025 though.
Going back to the drawing board in representation in the field of landscape mapping.
Collating the information across all sorts of different maps and images and creating a full view of the land to see the wider picture.
