#CassandraCalin is a cartoonist known for her semi-autobiographical webcomic, Cassandra Comics, where she talks about life with curly hair, high expectations, and other daily problems.

Originally from Romania, she came to Canada as a child. The New Girl is her longform graphic novel debut.

Still Just Kidding: #CassandraCalin is absolutely wonderful. She just released The New GIrl, her first graphic novel, but SJK is a great hardcover collection worth seeking out. Some of these strips are reprinted in I Left the House Today!, which is easier to find.
