He's in the conservatory on the platform of his scratching post, which is in sunlight.

There seems to be a flying insect in the room. I hadn't noticed it, but the #catpest has. He's too old to chase flies (my opinion). He'll catch the bugger any minute (his opinion).

FINALLY got Easter flowers from Snaisburys. £10 for three each of pink tulips, white tulips, blue hyacinths, pink roses and blue anemones. Enough for two vases.
Also walked 10K steps today, went to a new art group and clean forgot I'd left the #catpest outside because he ignored me when I called.

I suffer from insomnia so I tend to be awake between 4 and 6, then I give in, come downstairs to make tea, tell the #catpest to go back to bed and take the tea upstairs with me where I drift off, usually without drinking more than half of it.

My goodness it is cold out there. About -10C windchill, at a guess.
I've just been to fetch the #catpest a new litter tray from the garage (he has disposable card ones cos Reasons) and I really wished I'd put my coat on.

The #catpest is having a real day of it. Having got his muddy paws on my clean duvet cover this morning, he's been hanging around wanting attention all afternoon and is now refusing to go out because I haven't fed him. He gets fed at 19.00 and knows this but it doesn't stop him getting under foot.

Sitting here, having fed the #catpest early, I was thinking: 'That cat fud smells very strong.'
Then I looked up and behold! he'd thrown up all over the sitting room floor.
Many swears and deployment of disinfectant later, and he is outside thinking about How To Be A Better Cat.

Back home, and managed to let the #catpest out before he had recourse to his litter tray, which is #winning.
On the way up the lane, passed Marmalade, the ginge from three doors down, lying in the shade looking pissed off. This MAY be related to Maisie, the Staffy pup who now lives in his house.

The #catpest has just successfully attracted my attention by stropping his claws on what used to be my nice Radley backpack. It's less nice than it was because the catpest . . . yes. He's now in the garden getting some fresh air and thinking about how he can be a Better Cat.

I have a cat here (yes, him) who does get his dinner for another hour and 15 minutes, but has decided to nag me just in case I am feeling benevolent. I absolutely am not and having a sticky nose applied to the back of my hand every 30 seconds or so isn't improving matters. #catpest
