Okay so the #CatsTrailer looks... exactly like the musical? But with a little extra CGI uncanny valley? Why is everyone so upset this is literally the musical it is weird and awesome.

Obviously Francesca Hayward is a talented ballerina and will do amazing as Victoria in the #CatsMovie, but in the #CatsTrailer her physicality in the role as she lurches and jerks just truly unsettles me. The movement makes me primally frightened. #catsthemovie #Cats

I have never had the desire to see #Cats. And the new #CatsTrailer for it just reinforces that in me. Creepy. Unnatural. Perhaps visually stunning. But it's really nightmare fuel. Cat #Gandalf triggers me for reasons unknown.

So, I'm left feeling like all the people confused by #CatsTrailer just never fucking saw cats. Because it was always awful, and actually, that film looks like it's better than the horrors I witnessed with my own eyes, if only because people with actual talent are making it ;)
