Every time I see a 'leading creative thinker' try to sell this moment as Consume Canadian Culture my heart breaks a bit.
It's the most capitalist response to this surge in patriotism. With the zero critical thinking about the dark sides of patriotism. Or capitalism.

In Toronto generative AI is being used for theatre marketing and it's crickets except for ppl in that line of work.

Normalization of what, exactly? It's a wholly Canadian created play focused on a closeted queer man fired from ZAKA for treating injured Palestinians. Besides the protagonist, none of the antagonist Israeli characters are more than briefly sketched in. (My 2018 review below.) #TheaTO #CdnCult
