Winner of the children's category. Peep Diorama titled, "The Power of Peeps." It looks like a giant chapter book with a forest scene popping out of it. An orange Peep with triangular ears (intended to be a cat) is in the middle of the scene.
Winner of the adult category. Peep diorama titled, "The Women." It depicts an old hospital scene with 3 peeps dressed as nurses with nametag and 2 peeps in hospital beds. A red cross is at the top of the diorama and miniature medical posters are on the walls of the diorama.
Winner of the young child category. Peep diorama titled "The Barbie Peephouse". It is a vertically positioned shoebox with a shelf halfway up. It shows a scene of various barbie dolls and peeps at a party. There are streamers, glitter, and pink walls with gold trim on the edge of the diorama.
Winner of the teen category. Peep diorama titled, "Alice in Peeperland." It is made of a shoebox positioned horizontally with the lid of the box making a "floor". The scene depicts a Littlest Petshop cat standing in the center looking at a blue bunny peep with yellow pipe cleaner hair. Behind the characters in a large keyhole shape with a black and white spiral painted inside. The floor is checked red and white. The top of the diorama has multicolored pom poms and plastic grass.
We had a #PeepDiorama competition at the #CentreHallAreaBranchLibrary where patrons of all ages made dioramas with #Peeps depicting a scene from any book of their choosing. These are the winners:
