The sessions about Direct File at #CfASummit were incredible. Both the product and the people working on it are a huge and inexplicable loss 😞
Had a great time at @codeforamerica.org #CfASummit last week. Meeting the folks writing software to deliver services to hundreds of millions of Americans was refreshing, and I'm excited to find ways for @codeday.org students to contribute to the many critical open source projects in this space.
Reflecting on #CfASummit, there were so many of us who masked in N95s, protecting our health while engaging with our field. Even though we’re not in the highlight reel or conference photos, I’m proud of how many protected themselves—and their longevity in this field. It’s a sign of commitment.

Day 2 of @codeforamerica.org Summit 2025 was an amazing day of being the unelected mayor of the hallway track and (re)connecting with so many amazing humans. Feeling rejuvanted! #cfa2025 #cfasummit #CivicTech #PublicInterestTech #GovCon #GeekInPurple #MayorOfTheHallway 1/2
I spent two days at #CFASummit and nobody mentioned the word “democracy.”

We had a great time learning and collaborating with so many passionate people working to make gov't more adaptable, resilient, and focused on delivering better outcomes for everyone. Already looking forward to next year!
It was wonderful to see so many colleagues and friends at #cfasummit. Felt like everyone needed a shot of connection and optimism. I’m hoping this is a kickoff to big ideas coming to life all over the country. Thank you @codeforamerica.org for creating such a great gathering for our community

Had a great time presenting yesterday at #cfasummit with my fellow alums of 18F. Appreciate everyone who attended our panel session.
Here’s a picture of the FEC launch cake from “back in the day” - this came up at our #CfASummit session today. Launching the new FEC.gov on my birthday was one of my favorite 18F memories!
I am fortunate to be part of an amazing team at @civilladetroit.bsky.social and am grateful to have @andre-francisco.bsky.social and Alaina Curry by my side! #CfASummit
