Oh, Sanal would *love* pranking Liam. Probably they would do something silly to his coffee (though they'd have a real coffee on standby). Liam would *not* see it coming, and might take a second to realize that it's a joke. He's not been kindly teased much.

A couple in my queer dark fantasy series (Declan and Mícheil) had many in jokes together and made references throughout their relationship. Chair jokes, for one. And calling each other out for self-deprecating humor.
