Both Mem & Clara are pretty bad judges of character at first, though Mem is worse. That mainly comes from their brainwashing to believe that Elect = good, Reprobate = bad.

Haven't written as much with these characters but so far I'd say both Mem & Clara are similar to Mireia - when we're in their POV, they are mostly reliable but their judgments of themselves, others & their world in general are not always right, and we're meant to be aware of that.

Lucium ore is extremely common throughout the whole continent. It's found in volcanic veins both close to the surface as well as deep underground. Weirdly, the stuff that comes from deeper down tends to be more effective in numentech. So of course, Arx Lucis likes to dig deep for it! #Charagma
