Veli sits and hunches over, their back facing to Chisei. They shiver as Chisei draws a pattern on their back to tease them, searching for a small groove beneath their skin. Once she finds it, she digs her nails in to open up Veli’s back panel. “Uugh,” Veli trembles when Chisei tugs at tight bundles of wires surrounding their titanium spine. “That tickles!” She pulls one wire out a bit, and Veli visibly shakes. Chisei slips her fingers through several wires, pressing against a switch panel behind them. “Where is it, Lili?” “I didn’t come with a manual!” Chisei’s finger finds a switch, and she uses her fingernail to pull it down. “Ah! I can’t see!” Veli exclaims. “…Do you wanna try something with that?” “Not tonight, Chisei…” Chisei flips the switch on, then finds another one and toggles it. “What does this do?” Veli pauses for a bit. Their brow furrows. “What did you say?” Chisei repeats herself, but she’s just mouthing the words. “Oh, that’s the deafen toggle…”
