The #NHS10YearPlan barely mentions the word ‘poverty’ throughout. It appears in just just nine instances. Coupled with delays to the long-awaited #ChildPovertyStrategy, it seems to me that #Labour isn’t seriously grasping the fundamental issue: Poverty is inextricably tied to poor health outcomes.

Research from @cpaguk.bsky.social & @lborouniversity.bsky.social (CRSP) shows how school costs have risen. The upcoming child poverty strategy must address this by providing cost support to families.
