Saying goodbye and thank you to @peterwanless.bsky.social who spoke powerfully of how far we've come and how much farther there is to go to keep babies, children and young people safe. And of the importance of the collective voice. Now he's retiring, I'm the veteran of #ChildrenAtTheTable. Gulp!
And Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson gave a fantastic talk at the #ChildrenAtTheTable reception. We were very proud to see this is where the campaign has grown to, with children’s voices front and centre and making a real impact - the 15 children who spoke were remarkable.
🚩 197,000 young people left secondary school with low wellbeing in 2022. We must do better, starting with better data.
As supporters of the #ChildrenAtTheTable campaign alongside SWU we're joining calls for a universal wellbeing measurement.
