A passage of text from Chivalry & Sorcery 5th edition, which reads:
Sub Saharan African characters
No objective gamemaster can object to African characters in the Islamic world. Historical evidence also affirms the presence of Nubians and Ethiopians in Byzantium, Italy, southern France and Christian Spain.
Were there Sub-Saharan Africans in more northern medieval countries? There is some evidence in favour. People certainly knew about Africans, clearly African people are represented in both visual arts and in literature. Recent archeological investigations have demonstrated the presence of a few North Africans and at least one sub-Saharan woman in medieval England.
It is the firm belief of everyone involved in Chivalry & Sorcery that Sub-Saharan Africans were present and belong even in the strictest historical campaigns.
Medieval legends give us examples of Sub-Saharan African characters, and any group that accepts the presence of magick and dragons should accept non-European characters.

A good reminder from Chivalry & Sorcery 5th edition for anyone running a historical rpg campaign.

I like the concept of Decuma by @goldenlassogames.bsky.social and would like to use it in a coming #ChivalryandSorcery campaign, but as shipping would be a bit expensive to EU, how about using the tarot cards of #Everway – would it be a good idea? How to use tarot cards to define PC relationships?

The Celts A Rules Supplement for Chivalry & Sorcery 5th Edition, written by Brian Young - New material allowing gaming in the Celtic World.

My weekly post from my RPG collection this week is 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘦𝘭𝘵𝘴, a supplement for Chivalry and Sorcery 5e. I purchased it via the Kickstarter from last year and it arrived a few months ago.

The book is in hardback in full colour and is around 90 pages.
