For years, I haven’t had the heart to garden, and even when I have, I haven’t had the back. Both are healing. From my son’s Chemo to his healing journey. From my long distance family and the grieving, and the bullshit and the grieving, still. And war. And disaster. And so much hate.

Just a simple chive flower , we might think… but it’s intricate and beautiful and efficient, and feeds the pollinators, especially the bees. Nothing humble about it!
