An illustration of what could have happened in the aborted season 4 of Horseland where Sarah Whitney and her friends were sent to Germany to the Pferdland ranch located in the Stuttgart area to participate in a cultural exchange program and to discover what horse training methods are like in Europe as compared to the USA. The reception was quite mixed as the ranch managers considered Sarah and her friends' methods of training their horses/mares to be pitiful and showed them too much compassion instead of being firm and authoritarian as the Pferdland riders do, Sarah tried to reason with them but there was no way to change their minds, the same for the boarders who were unable to get their guests to adopt their authoritarian and aggressive methods on the horses. After 2 days of disagreements, the boarders of Pferdland decided to punish Sarah and her friends by tying/gagging them on the signpost leading to the paddock for riding exercises on a Sunday afternoon and leaving them to their fate until part of the evening so that this punishment would make them change their training methods in a more direct way but will they let themselves be corrupted or not ? Poor riders, they who wanted to integrate well as guest boarders to discover the german culture and to befriend the boarders, they had no chance and fell on obnoxious, cruel and unsympathetic pests having no respect for the american riders
