I took this photo of three hyenas in Kenya and couldn't understand why I found the image so satisfying until I remembered #DaysOfHeaven and #ChristinasWorld.

My love for Terrence Malick and Andrew Wyeth has more influence over me than I realized.

This painting means a lot to me. Not only do I see it as a statement of my own limitations as a chronically ill woman. But I inherited it from one of my favorite people in the world who passed away recently. My heart hurts. 💔 #christinasworld
