Through determination and quite some luck, our unlikely group find themselves in long forgotten tunnels, guarded by ancient traps barely held together. After a series of blunders and close calls, the group continues onwards, hours on end, clearing the cities limits.

Hearing the commotions above, the scaled trio below the streets hurry to find the surface, desperate to save any they can. They breach, just in time to see a few fighting desperately before them and they offer their aid. Only to feel true fear as his voice echoes out.

With the barrier gone, a sea of kobolds and dragonspawn flood the streets, striking down all unlucky enough to cross their paths. Those above street are set upon by ruthless attackers. They defend themselves fiercely against the first wave.

I think Ive finally come up with a name for my campaign and as such, will be tagging the excessive yapping that will occur as #ChromaReclamation for this dragon themed campaign in case anyone wants to mute that tag or avoid it or something.
