Stein Facebook post: “20 days until my final pre-op appointment in Ohio. 35 days until my 4-5 hour long occipital decompression surgery that will have multiple surgical procedures at The Ohio State University's The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. THIS COULD/should/hopefully BE LIFE CHANGING PAIN RELIEF from the back of my head up over the top of my skull to my forehead or near my eyes. Admittedly, it won't touch any of my other chronic pain anywjere else in my body but we hope the relief will be all much that the rest may seem to be more "manageable" to live with. I will take whatever I can get for pain relief as it's now ~20 years in on my #LifelnPain. So, we'll go to Ohio in 19 days and return in 21 days only to arrive back at OSU 13 days later for the surgeries the following day.
