This particular instrument is made from an urn.
Yes, really. An urn. With a flame scorched headstock.
This has beefy 62/48/36/26 gauge strings tuned to Low Taro (CFCF) which oddly balances out the warm, vintage response that humbucker provides.

Here's a custom build fresh of my workbench, #061 "La Resoña". This is my first ever resonator build made from a '76 Smith & Wesson mahogany box. I used a lighter gauge string set to let that resonator vibrate and tuned it to a very "traditional" GDGB 🎶🎸🎶

Three necks for #wipwednesday - first coat of tung oil, at least three more coats to go. At <20% RH it should go reasonably quickly. Once they're oiled up and cured I can attach these to the bodies and start installing hardware.
