Here's a small, sunlit quick clip of my first ever resonator build. There's no amp here. This is entirely acoustic, picked up by my lavalier mic and recorded on my smartphone.

Yes, really. An urn. With a flame scorched headstock.

This has beefy 62/48/36/26 gauge strings tuned to Low Taro (CFCF) which oddly balances out the warm, vintage response that humbucker provides.

Here's a custom build fresh of my workbench, #061 "La Resoña". This is my first ever resonator build made from a '76 Smith & Wesson mahogany box. I used a lighter gauge string set to let that resonator vibrate and tuned it to a very "traditional" GDGB 🎶🎸🎶

"Buzzsaw" is a coffin box build with a tele-style bridge and flame treated finish. The blade is from my workshop. Inside are steel bars for structure and sustain. Tuned to DADG. I may swap to locking tuners in the future.

It's not actually a cigar box. This was an old box used for measuring tools. The box art is public domain and was lasered on with other wolfish touches. A flat wound induction pickup is hidden under the wolf's throat 🐺
