Visa waivers aren’t radical.

Many countries already allow 6 months per visit without visas.

The UK choosing not to pursue better waivers in EU countries is a political choice, not a legal impossibility.

Federal Court Upholds Preliminary Injunction Against Enforcement of Executive Order Affecting Rhode Island Citizens' Rights On October 3, 2025, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit reviewed a case involving Rhode Island plaintiffs challenging a federal Executive Order (EO) that restricts certain federal documents and assistance to U.S. citizens. The court confirmed that the plaintiffs have standing and that the EO likely causes injury by preventing members from obtaining official federal documents and assistance to which they are entitled. The District Court had previously granted a preliminary injunction blocking enforcement of the EO, finding the plaintiffs likely to succeed on claims related to the Citizenship Clause and statutory rights. This ruling protects Rhode Island citizens from the EO's enforcement pending further legal proceedings.
