A Greater Roadrunner perched in a bare tree. Its body is facing the camera and it is looking to the left of the frame putting the head in profile. The body is striated brown and buff. The beak is a silvery blue, the eye is a black with a yellow circle in it. Behind the eye is a iridescent markings of blue silver and red.
A sight I don't usually see. A Greater Roadrunner in a tree. Wherever they are they are always a joy to be around.
