I’m fascinated by the demo videos for these house servant robots that tech companies are promoting. It’s a complex spectacle, intertwined with racial and class issues, and yet the product itself is subpar.

Racism is integral in capitalism, It’s a core part of its hierarchical design. Extraction needs hierarchy. Policing needs targets. Profit needs human sorting. Every inequity is by design.
