It lives! Tim's new #FPGBC assembled and ready to rock for #ClassicGameFest! We'll likely bring the OG DMG-001 too but this sounds pretty darn good and, importantly, it's backlit (and also a pretty good FPGA implementation). Tim's Analogue Pocket will be for playing NSFs.

A Pioneer laserdisc player, pretty standard unit. On the left is a cartridge slot for a Genesis cartridge. It says it is a Pioneer CLD-A100.
Close up on the Cartridge slow, it has three badges: MegaLD, Sega CD, Sega Genesis. It says Pioneer Control Pack PAC-S10 on the door covering the slot. Two controller ports.
I had never seen this before; this is a Pioneer Laserdisc, Sega CD, and Genesis all-in-one and it has blown my mind. #ClassicGameFest in Austin I am not going to buy this but it is so tempting.
