I’m going up the Wainstones side and can look over to the other stone steps where I’ve also climbed -today was clean and fresh and best part of the day 🌟

I sat here this morning to catch my breath after the steady climb up - to the lhs out of shot the gate that takes you up top and then further over the other dude - round hill awaits you - the vista though is splendid and the air up there so clean 🧤heavenly 🌟

I couldn’t get to the top as too windy for me - the strength of the wind can knock you down - but I walked up as far as I could - it’s so refreshing so vital 🧤

The rocks are epic and tight against the hillside some of them practically hang over you - it takes your breath away it is such a majestic place. You are surrounded by nature and the ancients 🧤it took me about 25 minutes give or take to get up there - and an experience I won’t forget 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

At the top of the stone steps is the footpath all the way up - again the stone pathway takes you there 🌟for me probably 20 mins or so 🧤

From my A5 sketch pad I aim to capture my experience as this for me is a huge departure from my usual expeditions - hill climbing and me ! Well. But the stones take you there and the silence is beautiful- you don’t have to believe in God to feel closer to that something either - ace. 🧤

The Robin set down on the stone path ahead of me as I climbed up and was there again on my way down - I said will you stay long enough for me to take a photo and he obliged by hopping onto the stone wall to the side of the path 💖

Taken from the track that winds round the hill it was still fairly clear and dry at 10 this morning - so the Cleveland hills all around and the villages around Stokesley and beyond - it was so clean and quiet up there - an alternative church it’s nature’s church 🌟

From high up on the hill over the valley with those hills riding up at the back shrouded in mist this morning but this is still a stunning vista the silence and peace broken by birdsong - it’s a good start to my week had to push myself to go and let the car do the driving - so we got there. 🧤
