ClimAIr´s Clinical Trials: A Pan-European Effort to Tackle Air Pollution and Respiratory Diseases Climate change and air pollution are not just environmental issues—they’re urgent public health crises. Rising temperatures and extreme climate events worsen air quality, increasing exposure to harmful pollutants that contribute to respiratory diseases, heart conditions, and other serious health risks. ClimAIr, a groundbreaking EU-funded project, is at the forefront of addressing these challenges using advanced Artificial Intelligence. With 21 partners across 15 European countries, ClimAIr integrates data from air quality monitors, weather stations, and clinical studies to develop innovative tools that predict and mitigate health risks. In this video, discover how nine medical institutions across Europe are collaborating in the ClimAIr project to investigate the impact of air pollution and climate change on allergic respiratory diseases.
