Declaration on Information Integrity on Climate Change Drafted by members of the Steering Committee of the Global Initiative for Information Integrity on Climate Change after discussions with its Advisory Group.

In addition, the European Commission's Directorate-General for Climate Action has launched the #ClimateFactsMatter campaign to equip citizens with tools to identify and counter climate disinformation, enabling informed decision-making and promoting public debate on the climate crisis.

Climate change is complex, and that complexity is often exploited.

Selective data, half-truths and oversimplified claims make it harder to see what’s real and what’s misleading.
