Just went past my 4-year #Clotiversary...
It was scary.
'Tight' lungs because I had blood clots in my right lung; clots that had arrived there via my heart.
All I could do was lie down as still as possible.
Healthcare workers were not able to identify a problem 😌

The 'extreme tightness' was my only felt symptom of the blood clots and PE.
Was bounced-out of A&E *twice* on Days 2 & 3.
Thankfully my GP #Ddimer tested me 3 days later.

On this, my 3-year so-called #Clotiversary, I've struggled with mild fatigue. This was associated with a full day of teaching & I'm resting as usual this evening.
I've reduced my daily #VisibleHealth PacePoints budgets down from 30 to 27.

It was a weird feeling when the blood clots moved through my heart to lodge in my right lung. I had a deep sense of unease.
Luckily I had a pulse oximeter, as an indicator of what had changed, in that moment.

Exactly two years ago, #COVID19-negative after 10 days in isolation, we went for a beach walk.
The Sars-Cov-2 virus can make your blood sticky. Clots dislodged from my leg, passed through my heart & blocked my right lung.
