A dazzling vintage 1950s 60s one of a kind handmade 14K gold and rock crystal quartz modernist cocktail ring. Entirely handmade from solid 14K yellow gold with a large approximately 20 carat faceted rock crystal quartz stone in a unique setting that is open on one side! I love the stone setting that only covers half the stone, and miraculously the stone has survived without any chips or noticeable wear to the exposed edges. A beautiful and quite large stone that measures 20mm diameter and I am estimating it to be about 15-20 carats total. The adjustable band is presently about a size 9.5 US, but can be professionally adjusted up or down several sizes. Total weight for the ring is 10.5 grams. Marked "14K" for 14K solid gold on the inside of the ring band as shown in the photos. The ring looks to have been repaired or reinforced in the past at the point where the stone setting curves down to meet the band of the ring. This is not at all noticeable when worn, and it looks to have been a good job so will not cause further issues in the future. In my photos, the ring is shown in a ring box which is shown only for display purposes and is not included in the sale of this ring, although the ring will come in a new gift box. Excellent vintage condition.
