Well, #CoffeeWeekend was absolutely slammed. I suspect they may need to book a larger venue space next year. Too many roasters to try, but a couple of stand-outs:
Aomi (Osaka), Namakura (Niigata) and Ignis (Sendagi). Have actually been to Ignis, as well. But have more to explore now...

Coffee Weekend Coffee Weekend | Coffee Weekend is a public coffee festival to be held annually in Melbourne, the world renown coffee capital of Australia.

Managed some 日本語 practice, and now on a train heading to #CoffeeWeekend. A number of Japanese #coffee roasters on show today so I hopefully get ideas for places to visit later this year.

Clear and cool in the northern 'burbs of #Melbourne this morning. Getting my usual post-ride fix, but sticking to a single as there's the #CoffeeWeekend festival later today. #cycling

Why Japan is so in love with Aussie coffee (and vice versa) Australian coffee brands have become the go-to for many of Tokyo’s coolest cafes.

Japan loves Aussie coffee. Aussie cafes are mad for Japanese matcha.
Single O has 4 stores in Tokyo, and Melbourne’s Coffee Weekend will feature 26 Japanese roasters. The caffeine connection is mutual—and delicious.
