NH based artist #KooSchadler (b.1962) is a master of egg tempura & a contributing editor at The Artist’s Magazine Her BA is in Art History from Tufts.She moved to Florence to study Renaissance Art & later to CA where she was introduced to egg tempera through #ChesterArnold at the #CollegeofMarin.

The sculpture on the left is my original bronze and quartz sculpture mounted on light marble. I created an edition of 12 at #ArtworksFoundry in Berkeley, CA. The edition is in a darker patina with black marble bases. Each crystal sphere was quartz and selected by myself. They are numbered inside the female hand. I was one of dozens of sculptors who submitted a monumental-size sculpture proposal for the new World Trade Center. The monumental size would have been cast marble instead of bronze.
Edition of 12 Synergy sculpture by Uriél Dana. Cast 1983/84 Artworks Foundry, Berkeley CA. Editions are mounted on black marble and the bronze has a darker patina. Each sculpture held a unique quartz sphere.

I painted this after a year and a half battle to save an old-growth grove of trees next door to my apartment. There were rare hummingbirds and decades of wildlife living in them. They gave privacy, produced clean air, shade, and comfort to all on our street. They were the only trees on our street. The owner of the lot razed the lot, in spite of the city taking a ten million dollar grant not to cut down healthy trees for climate health. Laws were ignored, and people paid under the table. We lost. The women in my paintings represent the divine feminine connected with Mother Earth and rebirth.
