After the long journey from the East Coast to California, Craters & Freighters unpack the 188 lb. crate to carry Starseed Mandala up 3 flights of stairs. No elevator but hey, rent controlled apartments are hard to come by.

Starseed Mandala waiting to be hung in its new home. The Starseed Mandala by Gage Taylor and Uriel Dana ©1997 In the center of the mandala, two extra-terrestrial figures, engaged in the tantric X position, seed the earth with the genes that will become mankind. The figures are surrounded by an etheric merkaba, a star tetrahedron made of two interlocking pyramids, one male, one female. When the two pyramids spin in opposite directions, they create a “vehicle” for travel outside time and space. The first pulse of new life spreads as a red bubble across the planet. (Red is associated with the life force, the root chakra, and the deity Shiva is known as “The Red One”). The hooded spiritual beings surrounding the earth are charged with overseeing the seeding. At the top of the circle, the white figure-the undifferentiated light of pure spirit-contains the symbol “Ah”, The sound of creation, it is the syllable found in virtually every name for God; Jehova, Ya-weh, Buddha, Allah, etc. The other figures are the guardians of the Seven Rays. Each color represents a chakra and the symbol for that chakra in included in each figure. Four Earth seasons, four stages of “incubating” the garden, are protected within bubbles of light, and surrounding all is the periodic table of the elements that make up all known matter in the universe. The four-star systems participating in the seeding (clockwise from upper left) Sirius, The Pleiades, Orion, and the Lyra system send their emissaries to Earth in the four etheric ships. Permeating everything is the energy grid, the light grid that encircles the earth and connects it to the rest of the universe. (To make the grid, we used the Fibonacci spiral, based on sacred geometry).
A gift from the Universe.Actually, a legacy from a patron who spent years commissioning one mandala a year in oils from various artists.Starseed Mandala©1997 Uriel Dana) was a co-creation between me & my late painting master & later husband, #GageTaylor (died 2000). He had planned to build a museum.
