U.S. Open Cup Round of 32: Switchbacks vs. New York Red Bulls at Weidner Field May 6/7.
This is the first time that the Switchbacks will play an MLS opponent in the Open Cup since 2016, when they played the Rapids.

Denver NWSL has its first-ever team president: Jen Millet.
A Denver native, she was the Chief Operating Officer at Bay FC, the most-recent expansion side.
She was also the CMO for the Golden State Warriors.

JUST IN: Denver NWSL has unveiled its stadium plans to build a purpose-built stadium at Santa Fe Yards (Broadway and I-25). Capacity will be 14,500 with the expectation to open in the spring of 2028. #ColoradoSoccer #NWSL

The grassroots effort led by Jordan Angeli in the summer of 2023, "For Denver FC" had a groundswell of support and resulted in a record expansion fee of $110 million.
