Chiaroscuro: The Private Lives of Leonardo da Vinci (Vertigo 1995) by Pat McGreal & David Rawson and Chaz Truog and Rafael Kayanan. A 12 issue mini series about the titular character. Vertigo was stretching the popular boundaries and why not go after the biggest (arguably) name ever in the arts and sciences. A great biographical read that is easy to digest and plants seeds to do more research on the man and the era.
