There were obvious nods to the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen but Monsterpiece Theatre by @tom_scioli was just SO MUCH fun. I'm so glad a sequel is on the way.

loved the art, the dialogue, and the wide range of characters.

this is a #ComicBookOfTheDay for sure.

Helen of Wyndham was nothing like I had expected and so much better than I had hoped. When @tomking.bsky.social is good, he really is among the best. The artwork by @bilquis.bsky.social is breathtakingly sublime. I can’t recommend this enough.

like with Peep Show or Love & Rockets, #Hepcats was one of my favorite indie comics at a time when there weren't enough indie comics. I just re-read the series and enjoyed it as much now as I did when it came out. I hate that this went unfinished.

"We Can Never Go Home" was a super fun read but man, sometimes the amount of panels, words, and emotion that can squeezed into a page blows my mind.

So, was no one going to tell me that @dougwagner13.bsky.social has written a Cyberpunk 2077 comic series?

Just read Nobody’s Child in one sitting and thought it was somewhat bland - vaguely interesting, but largely forgettable

The ending, however, was MAGNIFICENT. The last two pages were genuinely moving and beautiful and in hindsight the cover of the last issue was just lovely

A Righteous Thirst For Vengeance by @remender.bsky.social and @andrelimaaraujo.com was unspeakably, breathtakingly good. This oversized edition is just magnificent.

I can't recommend it highly enough but, be warned, the last few panels may just bring tears to your eyes.

issue 2 or “Living Hell” by @caitlinyarsky.bsky.social and @claytoncowles.bsky.social was just as impressive and compelling and, in a story about demons and hell, delightfully human as issue 1

“Moon Dogs” was my first comic book read of 2025, and it was a banger. highly recommended.

Unnatural Order was super interesting and exquisitely drawn, but that seems par for the course with @thevaultcomics.bsky.social. Highly recommended, definitely my #ComicBookOfTheDay
