Where the previous story was a direct sequel to #TheBloodlessSoldier, this one is a sequel to the #CompanionChronicle #TheMahoganyMurderers. We finally discover what Doctor Tulp’s master plan is and the repercussions it could potentially have for everyone.
Like the #CompanionChronicle that this evolved from, the story is elevated by the wonderful voice-cast, which includes the delightful #LisaBowerman. It kept me hooked until the end and I’m looking forward to listening to more from this range.

Before starting the #JagoandLitefoot series, I’m going to listen to the #CompanionChronicle they appear in, which acts as a backdoor pilot - #TheMahoganyMurderers
Unlike the previous #CompanionChronicle that I listened to, this one didn’t quite engage me enough. It’s an enjoyable enough tale to keep someone distracted for an hour, but hardly something I’d listen to again.

I listen to another #CompanionChronicle, set after #DoctorWho’s #CityofSpires but before #TheWreckoftheTitan - #NightsBlackAgents
And so begins another #DoctorWho monthly adventure, and another trilogy (or quadrilogy if you include the #CompanionChronicle) – this time with #FrazerHines returning as #JamieMcCrimmon, and playing opposite #ColinBaker’s #SixthDoctor.
This was my first #DoctorWho #CompanionChronicle, but I highly doubt it will be my last. For those wondering, these seem to be in the range of not quite an audio drama, but more than just an audiobook.

A first for me. Due to it being directly tied to #TheKeyToTime arc, I’m going to listen to a #CompanionChronicle - #ThePrisonersDilemma
