G The most amusing thing about the DEl rollback is that corporate leaders appear to have forgotten why they had to adopt these policies in the first place. It was never about supporting vulnerable communities in their quest for a better life driven by feelings of shareholder altruism. It was because consumers demanded it. Consumers have been pushing for ethical businesses, fairer working conditions, better environmental practices for decades. Shareholders capitalized from this movement by adding a healthy price tag to the "fluff". Indeed, that was the whole story behind TESLAs rapid success, which has clearly been erased from Elon Musk's Ketamine raddled brain. To think that some Executive Orders signed by narcissistic billionaires will automatically stop consumers from voting with their wallet is extremely shortsighted. The current dictatorship in America won't last long. Brands that listen to consumers and stay true to their values will outlast those that shamelessly capitulated by scrapping DEl so easily. #capitalism #shareholdervalue #socialvalue #brandstrategy #DEI
