Then, after, line weight was added to define petals and parts of the hand. Drawn with my right hand while balancing the flower on my left.
A gloomy and surreal graphite drawing. The scene was drawn from life, a student lounge at Wake Technical Community College's North Campus. In the scene, the environment is drawn to be unsettling and dark. Overhead, shadowed forms of people float stiffly in the air, facing different directions and showing no sign of movement. One body in front of a window shows a haze about it in the stark white glow from outside the windows. Nothing can be seen outside in the white glow, but there are multiple black handprints scattered over the glass of the doors and windows.
