#CorePrices — which exclude the #volatile #food & #energy categories — also rose 0.4% in Dec from the previous month, up from 0.2% in Nov. That is also the highest since last Feb. Core prices jumped 3% in Dec from a year ago, faster than Nov's 2.8% increase.
