An infographic showing the statistics of the UEAHSPC Hand Sanitiser Project, which reads: 1,300,00 estimated pairs of hands washed. 3,800 litres of hand sanitiser produced. 6,300 bottles filled. 600 approximate hours worked. 14 technicians working in the New Science Building. 1,870 Litres of sanitiser given to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Trust, the biggest beneficiary of the project. 15 local health and social care providers supplied with sanitiser; 9 of which were UEAHSPC partner organisations. 8 local businesses assisted on the project.

3,880 litres of hand sanitiser produced and 1.3 million pairs of hands cleaned.
This British Science Week, we look back to March 2020 when we opened our labs during the Covid-19 pandemic to produce emergency supplies of hand sanitiser for the local community 🥼
