Crip Mac Released After 33-Month Federal Sentence, Returns to Los Angeles Neighborhood
Los Angeles rapper and internet personality Trevor Hurd, widely known as Crip Mac, has been released from custody after serving a 33-month federal prison sentence. Hurd, now 33, completed his two-year-and-nine-month sentence this week and was initially released from federal prison on January 30. However, he was briefly detained in Los Angeles County Jail on a “flash hold” related to a probation violation before being released again. The U.S. Attorney’s Office confirmed that Hurd was sentenced after pleading guilty to one count of being a felon in possession of ammunition.
