Officers were dispatched to the scene around 11:30 p.m. Thursday to investigate reports of a man with a gun when they heard at least one gunshot come from a residence on 71st street.

SWAT and the #CrisisNegotiation were on scene with armored vehicles, trying to get a man to surrender peacefully.
