two prairie voles, the one on the left is standing on its hind legs and is just a rough sketch in green. the one on the right is hunched over, maybe eating something. it is somewhat rendered and fluffy looking but has weird looking hands and feet.

also their legs are kinda weird, idk how to make them look normal

I feel like I overworked this one this morning!

Does anyone have thoughts on how to
Improve? I’m feeling like the gold leaf is too much. Maybe just the newer central leaves? Little less chromatic overall?

A purple echevaria with rose colored edges on its leaves has a spike of deep pink buds and flowers. The leaves are edged in gold foil.

Other succulent paintings included for context and composition reference.

Opening up the floor by asking for #critiqueplease on this first piece I did for my #paletteuary2025 challenge.

I am thinking of placing these succulent pieces together in groups by color for prints, or doing a large rainbow order print.

Does this one need the composition and background changed?
