... the terribly-invasive Wisteria is about done for the season, so now all the clumps of purple flowers I see along the woods at the side of the highway are from the terribly-invasive empress trees

Today in #critterspotting I thought I saw a pickerel frog when I took the doggo down to the creek before work.

This evening I definitely hear them! And the toads, and the spring peepers...

Also: saucer magnolia must be near its peak, daffodils loving life, buckeye leaves starting

There are about three dozen buffleheads on the lake this morning.

This Monday there were about six dozen buffleheads and half a dozen canada geese.
