For the first time in at least a decade, I’ll be attending the @cubsbot.bsky.social Cubs Convention solo. Dad and I have always attended together, but he is unfortunately hospitalized with complications from prostate cancer.
He insists that I still attend. :)

As awesome as Sammy’s return to #CubsCon was past weekend, it really is a shame that there wasn’t a reunion with the Cubs while Ernie was still alive. Ernie adored Sammy and even publicly defended him when every anti-PED bleeding heart was trying to shame him upon his retirement.
