#cultshelf I’m sure this was heavily influenced by Sergio Leone’s Westerns, but this is really sparse and really isolated. Adds a lot of atmosphere.
#cultshelf Everyone’s a critic about the music at dinner.
#cultshelf The band who did the score also did music for a really good British movie called DEEP END about the same time. They had music from that movie and this one on a compilation album.

#cultshelf Anthony Dawson is the only actor here that is from the UK.

#cultshelf And here comes Mr. Sunshine, played by Anthony Dawson. He’s been here before in RED SUN, but you may recognize from stuff like Dent in DR. NO, as well as being the voice of Blofeld in several Bond movies.
#cultshelf The band CAN is one I heard from an album they had on a best albums of the 1970’s list that I did a listen-through for a Twitter thread ages ago. Really unusual kraut rock stuff, but interesting.
#cultshelf “I’m not a killer? I got a citation from Congress for killing, smart guy!”
