The rock, which covers the majority of the picture plane, is covered in round concentric circles of various sizes. The bottom is signed "Sketchd on the foot by W.J. Donmilly 1895." The bottom also has the label "Cup & Ring Marks Cochno Dumbartonshire NB." The upper left has the word "Marsh" labeled. The upper right has "Grove of Ford Rowan Trees."
