Another brilliant exploration about the story of how ‘New French Wave’ formed by Jean-Luc Godard who ignored the traditional filmmaking rules, making acclaimed film ‘Breathless’ in 1960, that was widely praised!

Interesting discussion with @hardiewrites #DCAC @Wshed.bsky.social, after watching #DieMyLove, this film gave us a food of thought with some totally unexpected, terrified and shocking moments, (it even made us jump!). Really emotional and empathetic themes centred on female’s representation!

Interesting themes - relationship, family across generation, social norms and most importantly the role of language reflecting the reality of deaf lives within a ‘perfect’ world. Beautifully executed shootings!

What a night @wshed.bsky.social it marked our 9 years anniversary event - Deaf Convos About Cinema #DCAC. Mixed reactions after watching Nosferatu, so interesting comparing the original and modern films with arts setting, costumes with little visual effects. Thanks to Nathan Hardies for his input!
