Assam: 10 DHDU militants surrender with arms in Karbi Anglong Assam Police reported that ten members of Dimasa Halan Dui United surrendered to the Superintendent of Police in Karbi Anglong district.

Police sources revealed that the operation began in April, after intelligence suggested DHDU planned to revive an underground separatist movement in the hill districts.
