But I've been wanting to prove that the devs went so far as keeping the detail that Kabooms/Klobbers have particularly hooked/curved hind-klaws.

K. Rool has appropriately re-designed his helipack to look like KAOS, the robot servant he was using as a proxy in DKC3. The original KAOS also has a fossil in this game.

There is also a frame with a pattern reminiscent of the DK arcade girder motif seen throughout the game (it can also represent a specific pattern seen in a very specific place elsewhere, but who knows? I certainly don't know. I can only hope)."
